Ruckus ZoneFlex 7372

The Industry’s Best Performing, Mobile-Ready, 2-Stream Access PointsZoneFlex 7352

The next generation Ruckus ZoneFlex™ 7372 mid-range 802.11n 2×2:2 dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz concurrent access points are designed for high density mobile device environments with bandwidth hungry and latency sensitive applications such as Voice and Video over Wi-Fi. These APs boast Ruckus patented adaptive antennas enhanced with polarization diversity to deliver BeamFlex+. This technology works in conjunction with Ruckus’ advanced channel optimization to provide industry-leading wireless performance. BeamFlex+ combines dynamic polarization diversity with adaptive antenna arrays and transmit beamforming to give customers up to a 4x improvement in Wi-Fi performance, signal gain and reception.

High Capacity and ReliabilityRuckus ZoneFlex 7372 is one of the industry’s first dual-band, three-stream 802.11n access point that incorporates Ruckus-patented BeamFlex+™ adaptive antenna arrays. Coupled BeamFlex+ that incorporates transmit beamforming (TxBF), when available, the ZoneFlex 7372 delivers the highest throughput of any AP in its class. The ZoneFlex 7372 ensures the most reliable connectivity within challenging and ever-changing RF environments. With BeamFlex+, the ZoneFlex 7372 offers a 2-4x increase in performance and range and is capable of delivering up to 4dB of signal-to-interference-plus-noise (SINR) improvement and up to 15dB of interference mitigation over other APs. Capable of supporting 500 concurrent clients, the ZoneFlex 7372 simultaneously supports spatial multiplexing and BeamFlex+ to deliver the best price/performance of any two-stream 802.11n AP.

With a theoretical throughput of 300Mbps per radio, the ZoneFlex 7372 ensures maximum throughput to three-stream capable clients while also improving single and dual-stream client performance.

Pervasive Performance

The ZoneFlex 7372 integrates a patented software-controlled adaptive antenna array that delivers additional signal gain per radio chain. As BeamFlex+ adapts to client locations and RF signal polarity, the smart antenna array transmit and receive on a per packet basis. This allows for up to 4x improvement in signal range and a reduction in packet loss. By combining BeamFlex+ with the transmit-based beamforming, the ZoneFlex 7372 is capable of delivering up to 4dB of transmission gain.

Dynamic Clients

In dynamic indoor and urban Wi-Fi environments, mobile device orientation constantly changes. This affects the polarization of the transmissions. Traditional Wi-Fi antennas are static in nature and only listen using one polarization. This prevents them from capturing the full signal from mobile client devices. The Ruckus 7372 listens in all polarizations simultaneously. This results in over 2x (4dB) gain to mobile devices with weak transmitters.

Ruckus ZoneFlex 7441

ZoneFlex 7441 access point for Wi-Fi on coax distributed antenna systems (DAS)

ZoneFlex 7441

Wi-Fi has rapidly become the de facto solution for providing indoor wireless data services. Wi-Fi is inexpensive, popular with data users, and available on all data centric devices, whereas distributed antenna systems have long been the preferred solution for providing indoor mobile coverage. Both technologies can provide a neutral host solution where the subscribers of any mobile operator can be easily connected. Typically these are deployed as parallel networks in many venues, but with the ZoneFlex™ 7441 access point it is now possible to deploy Wi-Fi over an existing DAS network enabling operators of DAS systems to create and market Wi-Fi services for property management, building operations, guest access and even wholesale Wi-Fi HotSpot services across a building.

The ZoneFlex 7441 is an excellent way to get started with Wi-Fi in a simple, quick, and cost effective manner.

Ruckus ZoneFlex 7055

Multiservice 802.11n dual band concurrent 2 stream Wired/Wireless wall switch

ZoneFlex 7055

The ZoneFlex 7055 is the industry’s first dual-band dual-concurrent wall mounted wired switch and wireless wall switch designed for next generation wireless. The ZoneFlex 7055 features integrated 2.4GHz and 5GHZ concurrent 802.11n WLAN radios, five wired Ethernet ports, PoE ouput, and a passthrough port for devices such as digital phones that require native access to a PBX system. Designed with hotels and multi-dwelling units in mind, the ZoneFlex 7055 is easy to mount to an electrical junction box and has a sleek and low-profile form factor. It provides flexible deployment options with Ruckus SmartMesh Networking for areas without existing Ethernet infrastructure.

ProductThe ZoneFlex 7055 is the industry’s first dual-band 2.5GHz and 5GHz wall mounted switch focusing on next generation mobile and smart devices with 5GHz support. It delivers high performance 802.11n wireless coverage and four wired Ethernet access connections that can be used to support a range of in-room IP device and user connectivity options. An additional passthrough port allows connectivity for digital phones that requires native access to an in-house PBX system.

An IEEE 802.3af/at-compliant POE port, powers devices such as IP telephones directly from the wall switch. The ZoneFlex 7055 requires only a single POE cable drop thereby reducing cabling, switch ports, and power sourcing equipment.

The ZoneFlex 7055 can be deployed in standalone mode or centrally managed by the Ruckus ZoneDirector or Ruckus FlexMaster systems.

Flexibility

With SmartMesh Networking the ZoneFlex 7055 can be deployed in difficult to reach places with out existing Ethernet cabling or for extending wired and wireless coverage for temporary access.

The ZoneFlex Wi-Fi Wall Switch very low profile, minimizing the protrusion off the wall to make in-room cabling and furniture arrangement simple. Flexible deployment options allow the ZoneFlex 7055 to be easily installed via two uplink Ethernet options: an RJ-45 Ethernet jack or a 110 punch down block connection.
