ATEN CE790 Digital KVM Extender

ATEN CE790-1

The CE790 is a IP based KVM Extender with automatic cable detection (Auto-MDIX) and RS-232 serial functionality that allows access to a computer system from a remote USB console (USB keyboard, monitor, and USB mouse) anywhere on the intranet.

ATEN CE790-2

The CE790 improves on previous designs by: 1) the addition of an intuitive On Screen Display (OSD) on both the transmitter and receiver units for easy setup and operation; 2) working over a standard TCP/IP LAN via inexpensive Cat 5e cable, allowing point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and multipoint-to-multipoint administration without the need for an additional KVM switch; and 3) the addition of an RS-232 port, on both the transmitter and receiver Units – to connect to a serial terminal for configuration, and serial devices such as touchscreens and barcode scanners. * The CE790 can be installed in point to point, point to multipoint and multipoint to multipoint configurations. Multipoint configurations require a separate purchase – contact your delear for details.

ATEN CE790-3

* In multipoint configurations, the IGMP (Internet Group Management Protocol) function of your network switches/hubs should be enabled to avoid deterioration of data throughput. If you do not know how to enable IGMP, please contact your network administrator.

Feature :

  • Remotely access computers on your KVM installation via intranet
  • Dual console operation – control your system from both the transmitter and receiver USB consoles
  • OSD (On Screen Display) on both the transmitter and receiver units
  • Supports GUI operation*
  • No software required – an HTTP server is embedded in both units
  • Built-in ASIC for greater reliability and compatibility
  • USB Keyboard and USB Mouse Ports
  • RS-232 serial ports** – allows you to connect to a serial terminal for configuration, or serial devices such as touchscreens and barcode scanners
  • Audio enabled
  • USB overcurrent detection and prevention
  • High resolution video – up to 1920 x 1080
  • Supports widescreen formats
  • Ultra-High quality video mode
  • Hot pluggable
  • Rack mountable
  • Firmware upgradable
  • Auto-MDIX – automatically detects cable type

    Note:
    * The CE790 AP and GUI operation instructions can be downloaded from the ATEN website (www.aten.com).
** RS-232 serial ports support Tx/Rx/CTS/RTS signals only.

ATEN CN8600 DVI KVM over IP

ATEN CN8600-1

The CN8600 DVI KVM over IP is a cost efficient over-IP device, which allows remote access of digital video, audio and virtual media via remote control of a PC or workstation. The CN8600 enables Over IP capability by connecting compatible ATEN DVI KVM switch and / or LCD console, such as the CS1768 (8-Port USB DVI KVM Switch) or CL6700 (DVI LCD Console). For user-friendly operation, a mini USB port on the rear panel is designed as a Laptop USB Console (LUC) port or a Virtual Media port. No additional monitor, keyboard or mouse is required locally for routine maintenance – simply use the LUC port to connect a laptop, and access any computer connected to the switch for easy on-site management. The CN8600’s Virtual Media function allows a user to perform diagnostic testing, file transfers, or apply OS / applications updates and patches from a remote console.

ATEN CS1716I 16-Port PS/2-USB KVM over IP Switch With 1 Local/Remote User Access

ATEN CS1716i-1

The CS1716i KVM switches is an IP-based KVM control unit that allows both local and remote operators to monitor and access multiple computers. Remote users access the switches over the Internet by means of a web browser using TCP/IP for its remote communications protocol. The CS1716i supports up to 32 concurrent user logins for single-bus computer access. A built-in feature that resembles an Internet chat program – the Message Board – lets them communicate with each other. The ability to exchange information in real time allows them to cooperatively manage the installation in a smooth and efficient manner.

ATEN CS1716i-2

Among the CS1716i other outstanding features, a Panel Array Mode provides the ability to simultaneously monitor up to 16 servers per switch; while the Mouse DynaSync™ feature automatically synchronizes the local and remote mouse pointer movements for perfect alignment regardless of what the mouse acceleration settings on the server are.
The CS1716i supports the highest security protocols, such as 128 bit SSL encryption for the browser, and RC4 128 bit encryption for secure keyboard, mouse, and video data transmission. For easier and more efficient user management integration, the CS1716i also supports authentication and authorization via remote servers, such as RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS, and MS Active Directory.
